Andrew, Theater Educator & Director

I originally found Gabrielle because I was really nervous about my college auditions. She was amazing and helped me pick repertoire, coach both songs and monologues, and feel completely prepared for whatever happened in the room! I could ask her anything and she would know how to help. I’m in college for Musical Theater, and I still work with her!

Hi! Gabrielle here. A little note:

Singing, Acting, and even dare I say, auditioning, should be fun. Working as a professional in this industry for 15+ years, I have learned the habits, attitudes, and training required for success and joy within this difficult profession. I ardently believe that singers are not limited to certain genres based on what their voice sounds like. I believe anyone can learn to act, and different combinations of methods suit different people.

Most importantly, I believe succesful theatre education is not dependent on attending a “top BFA program”. Education begins with your own work ethic, your passion, and teachers dedicated to the students as individual artists. The peers I have worked with at the highest levels of American (and global) theater do not necessarily hold musical theatre degrees or BFA’s. What they all share is a passion for the arts, dedication to continuous development of their craft, and lots of perseverance.
